Our ServicesOhomairangi Trust is community based and community lead.
Our services are provided free to parents and whānau. Our parenting programmes are provided in partnership with the Mangere East Community Centre. We provide transport and children's groups if needed, for parents who are attending programmes. Our early support service for tamariki with additional needs and their whanau is provided in the home and in early childhood centres and Kohanga reo. Children with high and very high developmental needs meet our criteria for our early intervention services. We also provide professional development training. All inquiries are welcome. Our dedicated team of parent educators, early intervention teachers, speech language therapists, psychologists, education support workers and childcarers are committed to sharing their skills and expertise. We use researched evidence-based models and strengths-based practice. We accept agency referrals and direct inquiries from parents and whānau members. We have found that many parents are recommended by family or friends who have used our services. |
